Douglas Ford Marr

Doug passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. He is survived by his son, Anthony (Jen) Marr of Blairmore AB.

In earlier years, Doug worked as a skilled carpenter, finding purpose in building and repairing top quality projects in Crowsnest Pass, Lethbridge and Calgary, later returning to the Crowsnest Pass where he spent his retirement years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Winnie and Ford Marr, and his siblings, Dorothy, Winnifred, and Bruce.

Doug’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate and dedicated staff at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre for their care and support over the past seven years.
